This is an interface betwee the radio and the computer for using digital modes. This unit includes a built in sound card -- in a package smaller than a pack of cards. No cables are included since they must match your particular radio. Also, you can use your rig's power supply since the current drain is so small. (And you only need the interface when the radio is on!)
